If this isnt played at my funeral I"m murdering everyone in my sleep. Ive watched this crap movie and waisted 5:99, dont bother watching it. If you liked this movie when it first came out in the theaters, then you"ll love it when you see its extended version (the 4-DVD box set)
With the added footage, you will get a much better perspective of this Tolkien classic! It"s truly breathtaking especially if you view this in a proper home theater environment. I can now only hope that the TWO TOWERS will be given a similar treatment when it is released on DVD. This is the first time that I felt a movie needed such a strong caution against it. The movie had one thing going for it- great scenery. Otherwise, it was a terribly unenchanting tale about good vs. evil. I kept expecting something to happen throughout the movie to change my opinion, but nothing did. I was ready to walk out of the movie after 2 hours, and wish I did because nothing good came from my viewing of this movie. For the scenery, 1 of 10 stars.

This actually reminds me of when I was little, riding my bike in the countryside, and hiding from the farmer at dusk as my friends and I sat atop the haystacks that where piled in rectangles about 10 feet high, and listened to the birds. I miss being young, it WAS just like being a hobbit - full of wonder and joy. Ian Holm was the perfect Bilbo. This music feels like coming home to old friends. No one is buying this, you shouldve had this for rent, its more convenient. Next movie I wanna see the suit vs predator.

After 5:46 -So. Where are we goin. The only hope I have to re-live this is that someone will be doing a LOTR remake in 50 years and I"ll still be alive to see it. 0:47 and from here, a meme was created. 4x01 the boys are back in town. Old wonderful memories. world should be like the shire. Back when men were men. if this movie was made in today"s media, youd see half of them being women. 4x06 rv there yet. I"d give both my arms and both my legs to be there when they shot this movie. The entire cast looks like they"re having such a great time. Also, it"s interesting that while on set, sometimes Elijah speaks with an accent and sometime"s he doesn"t.

Rich Purnell is a steely -eyed missile man.”. I think the Fellowship of the Ring is the best movie of the trilogy. Some people may say that Tom Bombadil"s missing is a huge problem but i don"t accept this because Peter Jackson could grab the mood of the books. Totally. But why is the movie(s) is/are enthralling? Lets take a look!
1. The music

In the Fellowship of the Ring ( and in the other two movies, for sure ) the music is a very important point. They could ruin all the movies with some horrible melody but they didn"t destroy anything. Nay! Richard Wagner and Howard Shore did unbelievable job. The music in the movies are not only hiding in the background and smiling to the people. No. The music is fighting, crying and being happy with the players and this is very rare, very rare stuff in film industry.

2. Elves elves elves!

Well, this is my own opinion but i love elves! I love they history, they weapons and songs and i love their pointed ears too. So, the casting and the masking were perfect. The elves in the movie like the elves in the books and every single time when i hear the song of the elves i have goose-skin.

3. Oh, the old landscape. br>

Yes, the scenery is wonderful. The mountains, rivers, the sky is living on the screen. You can feel the wind on your skin and smell the grass in The Shire.

4. One Ring rule them all!

Sorry everybody, i can"t say any bad about this movie (or about the trilogy. I tried figure out something wrong or something sad but i couldn"t find anything.

This movie is perfect as Gandalf"s beard.
Watch it and enjoy J.R.R. Tolkien"s wonderful and majestic world.

This is why lkien is and always will be superior to Geroge R.R Martin. The prince of woodland relm found out what his father ment. the flames of war. ??. Its crazy how I wasnt even aware of how much effort was put into these movies. This just proves how special they were, they just dont make movies quite like they used to. Fly you fools. Everything about this scene is wonderful, the music, the cinematography, the location and the story of course. Makes me want to watch the films. 3:35 Neo must be destroyed. 3:53 ishi maga sherkul? Ive given in Ive bought the extended trilogy and will be watching it for the first time EVER. I loved it. But there were some things left to be explained.
